      The purpose of First Baptist's Music Ministry program is to provide a musical atmosphere that sets the stage for hearing, understanding and receiving God's Word.  We do this through multi-generational participation, and by individuals with a variety of musical backgrounds.  Our musical offerings range from traditional church music to contemporary musical presentations.

Sanctuary Choir

Meets Wednesdays in Music Suite
7:00 - 8:15 pm 

The Sanctuary Choir is open to all that love to sing!  The Sanctuary Choir provides the anthem for Sunday morning worship service as well as helps to lead the congregation in singing the hymns.  In addition, the choir presents a Christmas cantata with orchestra, as well as other seasonal presentations.

Adult Bell Ringers

Meets Sundays in Handbell Room from

4:00 – 5:15 pm

The Adult Bell Ringers are open to those with willing hearts and willing hands.  Reading music is helpful, but not a precursor to joining the group.  We present music during the Sunday Service every month, as well as at seasonal times. 

Family Choir

Meets Sundays in the Choir Loft

5:30 – 5:50 pm

This group provides special music for the Sunday evening worship services.  Most of the repertoire is Southern Gospel and folk hymn literature.
